Here is where you will find our most commonly asked questions about Sugar Locks.com.
Shipping takes 2-3 days with priority mail. Business days are considered Monday through Friday. If you need an order by a certain date, please calculate the estimated arrival time before ordering. I do not want any unhappy customers that expect their order sooner than it can be delivered. I do try to accomodate rush orders for a fee. The fee is for rush shipping is $25.00.  Rush fee is to put your order ahead of all other orders overnight shipping will be added on top of the rush fee.  Please do not place an order and leave a note for me to have it arrive before my estimated production time. I won't be able to accomodate that without discussing it first. Thank you for understanding!!!
2. I am buying one of your products as a baby or birthday gift, can you ship it to a different address?
Yes!  No problem!  When ordering please make sure to enter the shipping address where you want the item to be shipped too.  We also offer FREE personalized birthday and baby cards that we will put in your order.  We do not put an invoice in gift orders just a gift receipt.  You can also request to have a picture sent to you to view what your gift looks like.
3.  How do you ship your items?
All items are put in clear plastic bags with a Sugar Locks sticker on the back or tied in tulle depending on the item.  The order is wrapped in tissue paper and boxed in a white box.  Great for giving as gifts!  The only exception is if you order backpacks 2 backpacks are put in clear plastic bags, wrapped in tissue and shipped in a white tyvek mailing bag due to their size.  The birthday hats are shipped in a large kraft color box surrounded by tissue paper. 
4.  What shipping method do you use?
All items are shiped via USPS priority mail or on some occassions FedEx.  Priority mail generally takes 2-3 business days but is not guaranteed.   FedEx is used when the order weighs more than 4lbs or when we feel it is warranted.  All of the items are sent with delivery confirmation.  Sugar Locks is not responsible if packages take longer or are lost or damaged in the mail.  

5.  Return policy--Due to the nature of an item being completely personalized I do not accept returns unless the item was defective or there was a misspelling was done on my part.  You are responsible for choosing the correct sizes, age and personalization.  If an item is deemed defective a replacement will be sent or store credit will be issued.  All custom orders which are items that you chose different colors, designs, fonts etc in the special instruction box will be done to your specifications or my discretions these items unless misspelled on my part or defective from the manufacturer can not be returned or refunded.  There are no cash refunds.  Once an order is placed it can not be cancelled.  If you need to cancel your item once your order has been placed store credit will be issued.
6.  Safety--We of course consider safety extremely high!  All of our products that have embellishments on the shirts or other products are sewn on by machine.  Jewelry, embellishment items or clothing items should never be on a infant/toddler/child while sleeping or left unattended.  Sugar Locks will not be held responisble for any injury your child may occur when wearing one of our items. 

7. Fonts if we deemed the font that are chosen is not going to be readable with the personalization we will change it to make sure your personalization is the best!

    Yes you can pick up your order from two different locations.  Pick up is available at my house or at our salon Hair Comes the Sun both locations are in Plainfield.
